Run is not working in windows xp
That ignores all of the registry entries and DLLs needed to make it work. I am doubtful that it is a Windows version issue at all. You just did not really install it. What happens when you try to start it?
Any error messages about missing files? Typically this is caused by something being missing, it may also have registry values that weren't copied over from the last XP system it worked on.
I don't think you can just copy Windows application files over, the way a DOS pc used to work. Do you have install media for the game? I lost the disc a long time ago, I don't know where it went. I was wondering if I could patch it to work or something.
The media used to install Windows programs not only creates the games folder and copies the program files, it sets registry entries, copies support files all over the machine, and they sometimes write to or replace. Without the install media I think you have some extra space on a USB to recover!
