Aerobic warm up games




















Remember, warm-up exercises and games should start with slow and smooth movements and then move gradually into faster movements by incorporating zigzag and angled patterns.

Fill the Space — This game is helpful for special awareness and focus. Have the group all stand and start walking slowly and silently around the space.

Encourage them not to walk in straight lines, but rather to weave in and out of each other. Ask them to speed up their walk and change directions.

One team runs clockwise round the inside of the circle with the other team running anti-clockwise around the outside of the circle blue cones. When the coach shouts 'Jailbreak' the players inside the inner circle try to 'escape' to outside the 10m x 10m square yellow cones. The inside team scores a point for each 'jailbreaker' - swap over.
