Amd phenom x4 9950 black edition quad core

Cons: None. It runs all my games and applications without a hitch. I could not ask for more out of this CPU. Overall Review: Being an AMD fan has its ups and downs, but I have never reached a point where I couldn't get enough performance to satisfy my gaming needs.

Pros: Nice default clock speed. Unlocked multiplier and also came with a very nice copper core cooler which was a great plus, normally black edition cpu's from AMD dont come with one. Upon boot, 28c mins after load 32c idle and have yet to see anything over 40c with a heavy load 3. Im currently running T in dual channel as opposed to default T. Pros: Top notch performance, and the fan that comes with it is more than adequate for some decent OC cooling.

Cons: "Hey baby check out my processor" has yet to get me a girlfriend. Pros: I have it OC'd to 3. It stays around 33C idle and C while gaming.

I've had it run Prime95 for 9 hours straight and it went to 58C but never crashed and is rock solid. Cons: People who do not know what there doing, do not know how to install stuff, do not read instruction manuals, or use PSU's that do not properly power there system write reviews. Overall Review: The guy who reviewed this before me complaining the machine turned off and he thinks it is a defective cpu..

Well I can tell you now that his problem is his underpowered PSU. My system is almost exactly the same, but I had to upgrade my watt PSU to a more powerful one. The instruction booklet for the motherboard says if you want a high end ghx card you need watts minimum, and if you want 2 HIGH end video cards you need watts!

Get Educated. Like the superheroes of old, the AMD Phenom streaks out of the night to lay waste to your enemies. The Agena has 4 cores that run at 2. This thingmultitasks ish tabs open, itunes, dreamweaver, photoshop and more open as Im typing like a dream.

Not enough good can be said about it. Pros: No doubt the Intel counter part has faster processors but the cost does not justify the cost. Benchmarks show the Intel cpu's to be on average twice as fast but weighing in at 10 times the cost you are silly to buy them unless you are spending alot of time rendering 3d graphics.

For the avid gamer this processor is great and cost effective. I'm able to run crysis on the highest settings with no probs. Pros: This 2. Vista recognizes this processor immediately and installs the driver needed Restart Required. The Multipliers are unlocked and with a Zalman CPNS this processor is cool at 25c idle and c load, so I overclocked this to 3ghz by putting the multipliers to 15x. Not really stable but also not really necessary.

Cons: Non really, but it consumes w of your power supply. Compared to Intel Quad Cores which consumes 95w, w is way too much. Pros: fast cpu. Pros: When you thought dual core was so awsome now I am on quad and it feels great!

I bet ya I can OC it like crazy but dont want to for awile cause its plenty fast. Overall Review: I really like this cpu and I have had it folding constantly for the last 48hrs and it has not broke 40c with my liqid cooling. I Find myself waiting on my hard drive reads a lot more then anything else now. If you feel your cpu is bottle necking your computers performance this will deinatly chang that. Pros: Quad-core AMD.

I was able to replace my athlon x2 2. What an improvement! Everything runs faster, renders fast, games play great. I didn't realize just how hot those athlon x2 run. My phenom overclocked to 2. Didn't see that coming. They are now available in a wide variety, and though it's still difficult to compete with chipzilla Intel, no one will deny that the Phenom X4 processors offer heaps of value and are in fact really good processors to have in your PC.

The Phenom X4 BE is the cream of the crop processor of the quad-core product line, it runs at MHz on all four cores with a multiplier of But really, it doesn't mind or MHz either. And that's what we'll show you in today's article. To do so we need to chat a little about the architecture underneath that heat spreader. The Phenom is based on what is called the 'Barcelona' architecture. The silicon has four native independent cores merged together into one die; opposed to Intel who merges two dual-core chips together in one die.

AMD Radeon Adrenalin WDDM 3. Next page please Both processors can be considered and positioned in AMDs high-end segment, yet will be priced friendly. Yields are good, clock frequencies go up, performance goes up. And that's nice as the Phenom II series processors offer great performance for the money you have to lay down on the table.
