Kirby vacuum g5 manual
Solution that did not get picked up with the shampooer brush dries and shampoo additives do not let the dirt stick back to the fibers of the carpet. It is loose when it dries so in order to pick up what is left, you must vacuum again.
Shampoo: You can use any carpet shampoo sold in your local store but make sure that this is carpet shampoo that makes foam and pay attention how much you have to dilute it with water as various shampoo products come in different concentration. Avoid using "just anything" that makes foam. Some household chemicals such as dishwasher fluid will do great job but it will leave carpet unprotected so dirt will stick to it so well that you will have a filthy rug in no time.
Remove the bag and handle Right where the handle goes into the actual vacuum it snaps out. To unsnap the handle their is a button on the back of the handle right at the base where it goes into the vacuum.
To take off the bag put your hand under the boot mini emptor plastic part at bottom of bag and pull away from the vacuum and it snaps off. That is how you take off the handle and bag. Remove the trim around the Pivot handle The next step is to remove the trim around the pivot handle where the handle snaps in. The first thing you want to do is to undo the screw at the bottom of the trim. The screw is located right above the transmission switch.
Then you want to remove the screw that holds the cord under the trim. When that is off you want to unsnap the trim buy grabbing the bottom of it and lift up and at the same time push toward the front of the vacuum.
The trim then comes off. Remove the Metal Body With the powerhead and rear trim removed the 4 screws that remove the Metal body are now visible. First we remove the 2 on the rear of the metal that were covered up by the trim. Once those are removed we move to the front of the vacuum and remove the two remaining screws that are holding on the front of the trim. With the 4 screws removed now you simply lift the Metal body off of the vacuum. Before Adjusting the transmission If your transmission is not working in either direction then do this step first.
If your transmission is working in one direction but not the other then you can skip this step. What we want to do in this step is to make sure all the linkage is connected.
Really the only link that I ever check is the one pictured. Sometimes the linkage pops out and that is the reason that the transmission is not working. Kirby stretch hose. It is supposed to be more powerful than your conventional vacuum cleaner and is said, by Kirby of course, to be the best vacuum cleaner on the market. They do back up this statement at the division I. If the axels are in need of replacement, use the new parts you have obtained and place them back in the same place as before and screw them back to the vacuum.
Undo the screws located on the bottom of the completely black piece of the vacuum. One will disconnect the wires you find while this step is being completed. Using the Phillips screwdriver, undo the two screws shown on the front of the black plate and pull out the wires being held within it, carefully.
Next, undo the screw on the side of the vacuum shown. This will allow the plastic cover to detach from the system. Pull the plastic cover off. Badges: 1. Fix Your Stuff Community Store. Published: December 13, Tools Featured in this Teardown. Phillips 2 Screwdriver Not for sale.
